Barbecue-Style Brisket Sandwich – In a Pressure Cooker Flat Cut Beef Brisket (3.5 lbs) Salt Ketchup ½ cup Brown Sugar (1/4 cup) Worcestershire Sauce ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar ¼ cup Chili powder 1 tsp Sweet Paprika 1.5 tps Chopped Garlic (1 clove) Freshly Ground Pepper Yell Onion 1- Chopped Canola Oil 1 tsp Soft hamburger buns Sliced red onions /hot peppers (optional) Trim the meat of excess fat and pat dery. Season lightly all over with salt; cut the meal crosswise in halt fo form 2 large pieces. In a bowl, whisk together the ketchup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, chili powder, paprika, garlic. Brush the briskey pieces all over with the sauce. In the pressure cooker pot, saute the onion in the oil until soft (about 3 minutes) and then add ½ cup of water. Place 1 brisket piece on top of the onions and pour half of the remaining sauce over the meat. Place the second piece of meat in the pot and pour the remaining sauce over it. Lock the lid into place and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes. Begin timing when the pressure cooker achieves high pressure. Once complete cool down the pressure cooker, and open the cooker with the lid tilting away from you. Transfer to a carving board and let is rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, with a large spoon remove and discard as much fat as possible from the surface of the sauce. Thinly slice the meat across the grain and divide it among the bottom halves of the buns: soon the sauce from the pot over the meat and garnish the sandwiches as desired.
